In Ammersbek, we have over 12,000 m² of warehouse and production space. Thanks to high raw material availability, we guarantee fast delivery times – even for small series made of PTFE and elastomers. Our in-house toolmaking and 100% quality control ensure the highest quality.
In the production of O-rings, we are extremely flexible thanks to over 2,500 mold types with 7,500 different tools at our headquarters in Ammersbek. In our machine park, over 75 vulcanization presses produce O-rings with an inner diameter from 5 mm to 999 mm.

1963Company Foundation
Alwin Höfert founds Alwin Höfert KG in the Hamburg district of Bramfeld. The family's living room serves as an office, and the shed of the family home is converted into a warehouse. From day one, his two sons, Klaus and Gerd, join their father.1968Expansion
The company grows and relocates to the outskirts of Hamburg, to Ammersbek. It now consists of a production facility, a warehouse, and an administrative office. The workload quickly becomes too extensive for the family alone, and the team expands rapidly.1981Branch in Switzerland
After his football career at FC St. Pauli, Alwin's youngest son, Rolf Höfert, also joins the family business and establishes a branch in Switzerland.1983Branch in Italy
In Viadanica, Italy, a subsidiary, Höfert Italia, is founded. Höfert had long maintained good business relations with Northern Italy and decided to open its own plant.1991Founding of PTFE Nünchritz
Founded as a subsidiary in 1991, PTFE Nünchritz has always operated exclusively in the PTFE sector. The site has continuously developed over the years and today employs over 130 staff members who significantly contribute to the company's success and stability with their expertise.2002New Production and Logistics Center

At the start of the new year, Klaus Höfert steps down as managing director after 55 years and confidently hands over the company to his son Dirk, who has been a managing partner since 1999. The “senior” remains with the company in an advisory role. At the same time, the company celebrates its anniversary, looking back on 60 successful years.
