Klaus Höfert supported his father Alwin for many years before the company was founded in 1963 and took over as Managing Director in 1968 (together with his brother, who has since passed away). In 2023, he steps down as Managing Director and remains loyal to the company in an advisory capacity. Klaus died in December 2023 at the age of 83. He will be remembered as a successful businessman who always acted with determination and the right gut instinct.
